Fall winter is almost here. The expression, winter is coming in pop fiction, is quite ensconced now. It’s time to ditch our favorite summer dresses for more defined silhouettes, velvet blazers and trouser suits, bold prints and colors that make you cheerful and happy. Trendy blazer dress
A blazer dress brings perfect structure and chic style to fall. If the blazer dress is not a surprise silhouette, the 2022-23 trend calls for pop in this brightly colored tailored garment. “It’s a wardrobe staple and can be worn as a dress or as a layer for a fitted underlayer. Wear it with neutral colored accessories to offset the brightness or with tonal accessories for a bright monochromatic look. If you’re in the mood to experiment, pair it with bright complementary colors to turn heads,” says Mitali Joshi, Lead Designer, BoStreet.
Tailored trousers
Pantsuits made of hand-woven raw silk fabric, banana and bamboo silk brocades and silk-ikat fabrics will be in fashion. “In our trouser suit collection, which is a tribute to the centuries-old handloom industry in India, which has its roots in history but the fabrics produced are very much in tune with contemporary times and fashion. Different sleeve, neckline, collar and pant styles were explored along with hand embroidery to enhance the beauty of the garments,” says designer Gautam Gupta. Styles like peplum, long, short, etc. were explored in blazers.Aesthetic sleeves can be manipulated with ruffles, balloons and puff sleeves.To add to the style, hand-embroidered waistbands can be added.
Block pattern shirt
Block pattern shirts are an eye-catching trend for fall 2022. A casual daytime look, it’s a perfect transition from summer to fall. Block patterns, especially with gingham checks, are very trendy this fall, but you can also see patterns like aztec or even stripes in a few collections.
Trendy sleeves
Trendy sleeves strive to elevate Fall 2022 basics. “We can see this trend in essentials like a basic ribbed top with puff sleeves, elaborate pleated sleeves or ruffled sleeves that add just enough regular style flamboyance. Pair it with basic bottoms and accessories to keep the sleeves the highlight of the look,” adds Joshi.
