As we approach the end of September and soon begin the fall month of October, shades of brown, especially beige, will take center stage as one of the popular colors of the season. Courtesy of fashionistas nationwide and around the world, here are some ways to put a new spin on the otherwise called boring beige hue.
Like model Bella Hadid, go for a sporty, retro aesthetic with a white zip-up jacket and the must-have 2000s beige cargo skirt. For contrast, choose white mid-calf athletic socks and brown sneakers. Finish it off with a typical Y2K vibe by donning a stretch comb-over headband, racing sunglasses and chunky silver rings.
Beige Bermuda shorts
With the royal stamp on this style, courtesy of the late Princess Diana, a pair of beige Bermuda shorts will come in handy when you’re not dressing up for your Sunday brunch with the girls. Forget the tight shorts and embrace the boring beige of this silhouette. It will instantly enhance a tank top or a t-shirt thanks to its impeccable cut.
Beige leather pants
If plain black leather pants aren’t for you, choose a beige one like actor Kriti Sanon. Leather pants are always a good investment, but beige will turn heads wherever you go, especially when layered over a brown plaid trench coat. Go beige with a turtleneck crop top underneath and a fanny pack for a quintessentially fall look.
Beige trouser suit
If going brave is more your personality, take style cues from actor Pooja Hegde and rock a head-to-toe beige look. Make a strong case for a monotonous outfit by donning beige pants, a crop top and jacket in the same color and complete the look with gold accessories.
Beige tank top
If your wardrobe doesn’t include a basic fitted tank top in the beige hue, it’s time to invest in this classic piece. Wear it with a pair of white denim or a white co-ordinating ensemble as part of your holiday style or for casual wear like actor Mrunal Thakur with an abstract print shirt and denim. Emulate her style and accessorize her with gold hoop earrings and brown-framed sunglasses.
Whoever said beige pants were for the 9 to 5, actor Shehnaaz Gill is here to prove you wrong. Taking inspiration from the tonal style book, pair it with a brown crop top or bodysuit and add a tan colored belt and purse to complement the brown tones. You can also layer it with an oversized white shirt for a looser fit.
Beige cargo pants
If your middle name is over the top, go for this look from fashion blogger Riya Jain with the on-trend beige cargo pants. Pair a black lamb-sleeved top with beige pants that are cinched at the waist with a wrap-around belt. Complete it with a pair of PVC heels and white-framed sunglasses.
